Nightlight

That damn nightlight. Who thought it was a good idea? Oh, that's right. She did. There's a reason I got rid of the first one. "What if I need a drink in the middle of the night?" "What if our child needs to go to the bathroom?" Valid reasons, I give her that. But valid in normal houses. Not this one. I'll take my chances. You want to see to walk down the hallway? Fine. Don't get mad when the kid runs screaming into our bedroom at 3am because something scared him. I don't need to see in that hallway. I know what's there. I've seen it. I don't want to see it again. That's why I got rid of the nightlight.

Donovan

Have you ever watched the darkness? Have you seen it move? As the glow of the street light slithers through the slats of the blinds, providing just enough light that the room is barely visible, and the corner it doesn't touch suddenly gets darker. The shadow grows, and then begins to move. Something is there, but you can't tell what it is... These are the moments that have inspired one of my upcoming stories. Wait until you meet Donovan. You think you have problems? Just be glad you aren't him. #amwriting #writerslife #indieauthors #horrorwriter

Vincent

Vincent has put up with a lot in his sixteen years. He's turned out shy and awkward. But when all hell breaks loose, and people can't hold it together, he steps up and takes charge. The zombie apocalypse will expose people's true character. Stick around and you'll get the whole story. Just don't expect to get any sleep. #amwriting #writerslife #indieauthors #horrorwriter
